Bolly X The Bollywood Workout!

BollyX is a Bollywood-inspired dance-fitness program that combines dynamic choreography with the hottest music from around the world. Its 50-minute cardio workout cycles between higher and lower-intensity dance sequences to get you moving, sweating, and motivated. At the very core of a BollyX workout is the inspiration it draws from the music and dance of Bollywood, the film industry of India. We embody the infectious energy, expression and movement of Bollywood and aim to expand the reach of fitness to more people worldwide.
Bollywood dance itself is a hodge-podge of dance stylings, combining traditional East Indian dance styles such as Bhangra, Kuchi Pudi, Bharata Natyam, Odissi, and modern American Jazz and hip-hop.
Bollywood dance has its origins in Indian classical and folk dances and combines intense footwork, rhythmic hip movements and graceful hand gestures. Our students learn the fascinating culture from India as they become graceful dancers representing the lyrics of each song.
Trisha Puniani is originally from New Delhi, India. Dancing has always been her passion and will remain her first love. She has professional experience with Enigma, the Western Dance Society of University of Delhi where she performed and competed extensively across universities in New Delhi. Trisha’s dancing specialization is in Bollywood and Jazz. Also received Jazz training from Ashley Lobo’s Danceworx institute in New Delhi and was selected for the Professional Dance Certificate Program, which provided training from international dance faculty.”
